IGP Egbetokun, Yusuf Ali, Ex-Rep Moshood Mustapha, Others To Receive Special Recognition Awards At Lanre Osho’s Book Launch In Ilorin December 29

Prominent Nigerians including the nation’s police chief, Kayode Egbetokun PhD, Rep Yinka Aluko PhD, former Rep Moshood Mustapha, former Speaker ,Kwara State House of Assembly, Professor Ali Ahmad and Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo will be honoured with Special Recognition Awards at a book launch event in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on December 29,2024.
The book is titled ‘The Voice of Change: A Call for Transparency and Accountability – Lessons from Nigeria’s August Protests’, and the author, Comrade Mashood Lanrey Osho,who is a popular human rights activist in the State of Harmony, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday that the distinguished personalities will be honoured to recognize and appreciate their contributions to the development of the country .
He added that some among them will also be recognized for promoting and supporting literacy and youth development in Kwara State while it will also be a token of appreciation for the insights they have shared on national issues, particularly history of protests in Nigeria and the challenges facing Kwara State.
Comrade Lanre Osho’s new book provides insightful solutions to the challenges confronting the nation and he has urged the people of Kwara State to support him by gracing the occasion.
He also emphasized that the book provides answers to the challenges confronting Nigeria, looks at history of protests in the country and offers advice to the 36 state governors, security agencies, and the president on how to build trust with the citizens and manage protesters without resorting to crisis.
The event scheduled to hold on December 29, 2024, will take place at the KCDI Secretariat, Flower Garden GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State.
