Ilorin Rotary Club Donates Motorized Boreholes, Generators To Kwara Communities

Rtn Hassan Shuaib Olayinka Okoh PHF, who is the 20th president of the Rotary Club of Ilorin, has gotten off to a good start.
The Rotary Club of Ilorin has continued its humanitarian service projects by donating 3 motorized boreholes and generators to communities in Kwara state including Ikosin, Owode Ofaro and Oreke Oke.
This has been done on Okoh’s watch in his first 11 days in office.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Rotary Club of Ilorin (Primus Inter Pares) officially made the boreholes and the generators available for public use on July 11, 2023.

‘We have done this to alleviate the problem of severe water scarcity and provide sustainable access to clean water, this initiative has addressed the long-standing challenges faced by the beneficiary communities, where lack of potable water has had dire consequences on health, hygiene, and overall well-being of the people.
The inaugurated projects will serve as reliable and uninterrupted sources of clean water, setting the stage for a sustainable development and this will improve the living conditions of residents of the communities in question.
Getting this done was made possible through donations from local and foreign partners including Rotary eClubOne, Rotary Club of S. Allenton, RC Ilorin Golden, RC Ilorin Sunrise, N. Colorado Springs Rotary, RID 5450 and The Rotary Foundation (Charity arm of Rotary International)’ Mr. Hassan Shuaib Olayinka Okoh PHF, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday-Team@orientactualmags.com
