Kwara state Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) last week announced the application dates and requirements for admission to the UBEC Model Smart School, Adeta, IIorin, Kwara state.
The collection of application forms for admission to the UBEC Model Smart School had since begun on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Executive Chairman, Kwara state Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) , Professor Shehu Raheem Adaramaja noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday.
‘ This is to inform the general public that the collection of application forms for Admission to the UBEC Model Smart School, Adeta, IIorin Kwara state, will commence on Wednesday, 26/04/2023.
Collection and submission of completed application forms will end on Tuesday 02/05/2023.
Time: 9.00am –1: 00 Pm daily
Venue: UBEC Model SMART School ,Adeta, Behind Government High School, Opposite Bovas Filling Station, Adeta, Ilorin.
Requirements for Collection of application forms are Immunization Certificate, Birth Certificate , Candidate’s last term Result, Candidate’s recent passport photographs (2 copies ).
Entrance exams will come up on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at the school premises at 9 : 00am prompt.
Candidates are expected to come with their writing materials only, no parents will be allowed into the exam hall during the entrance examination.
While collection of application forms is free , no late submission of application form will be allowed.
The current third term Admission exercise is open to pupils in Pre-primary 2, primary 1,2, and 3. The Junior Secondary School section of the Smart Model School will only accept applicants as JSS 1 students.
Subsequent Admission exercise will come up in September 2023 for the 2023/2024 academic session’ a statement issued in Ilorin last week had said.
It would be recalled that the Universal Basic Education Board, UBEC had in 2021 approved the location of one of its smart schools in Kwara state following Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s investments in basic education.
Designed to offer 21st century education, the ‘smart school’ comprises comprehensive IT-enabled basic classes that would accommodate preschoolers, primary classes and junior secondary school classes, fitted with accessories like e-libraries, clinic and laboratories that make a complete school in this internet era-Team@orientactualmags.com
