I’m Joining President Tinubu’s Team To ‘Serve The Nation’ –Wike…Why He Was Asked To ‘Take A Bow And Leave’ -Akpabio

Former governor of Rivers state, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that he took a decision to join President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet because of his passion and interest to serve the nation.
The former governor, who has gotten recognized as the ‘man of the moment’ when it comes to Nigerian politics , has also asserted that President Bola Tinubu will not regret having him as a member of his cabinet.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Wike said this while talking to journalists at the National Assembly complex on Monday. The former governor, who is still a member of PDP, was there for ‘confirmation hearing’ and the senate had since okayed his nomination.
‘I thank Mr. President for nominating me. I believe knowing how hungry Mr. President is to solve the problems of Nigeria, we have no choice but to give him that required support, and I can assure you that if I am confirmed, he will never in whatever capacity regret nominating me’ he submitted.
The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has also given reasons why his colleagues asked Mr Nyesom Wike to take a bow and leave.
‘Having been nominated again for a ministerial position, there is no point asking him many questions’ he said.
Wike served as Minister of State for Education during the Goodluck Jonathan administration-Team@orientactualmags.com
