Former Head of State, retired General Abdulsalam Abubakar, APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje, former governor of Borno state, Alhaji Ali Modu Sherrif, former governor of Adamawa state, retired Admiral Muritala Nyako former governor Musa Kwankwaso and other prominent Nigerians attended the wedding of Laila Atiku and Saleh Maitala at the National Mosque, Abuja on Friday.
Laila is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s daughter.
Recall that the groom’s family had last year sent a delegation to the Abuja residence of the former Vice President to ask for Laila’s hand in marriage.
