In Pictures: Gov AbdulRazaq Visits Senator Aziz Yari In Abuja
Ahead of the formation of a new cabinet by the President Bola Tinubu administration, Governor AbdulRahman Abdul Razaq has continued to play an important role and join others to take necessary steps that would make everything smooth sailing.
Governor AbdulRazaq ,who is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum , has begun to take steps to ensure that the recently held leadership elections in the National Assembly do not produce negative after-effects.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he visited Senator Abdulaziz Yari at his residence in Abuja on Thursday evening as part of peace-building efforts.
It would be recalled that though the ruling APC had endorsed Mr. Godswill Akpabio for Senate President, Alhaji AbdulAziz Yari , a one-time governor of Zamfara state and Chairman, NGF, had however chosen to compete with him.
During the inaugural session of the 10th Senate on Tuesday , Akpabio was eventually elected as Senate President, he got 63 votes while Abdul’aziz Yari had 46 votes-Team@orientactualmags.com
