In Pictures: Gov Bago Pays Congratulatory Visit To Hulayat Omidiran In Abuja

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has assured the Chairman of Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon Hulayat Omidiran of his administration’s support to ensure a successful tenure .

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the ‘farmer’ governor gave the assurance during his congratulatory visit to Hon Hulayat Omidiran at the FCC headquarters, Abuja on Wednesday.

He highlighted how important the Federal Character Commission is to the unity of the nation.

While expressing confidence in the ability of Hon Hulayat Omidiran to transform the FCC cognizant of her track record as a former federal lawmaker, the governor also urged her to uphold the trust reposed in her by the president to be fair and just to every part of the country.

He also asked the FCC to key into the agricultural revolution of his administration in Niger State.

In her remarks, Executive Chairman of Federal Character Commission, Hon Hulayat Omidiran noted that the FCC is tasked with uniting Nigerians and making them have a sense of belonging as citizens of the country.

She promised that FCC under her leadership will maintain continued collaborations with all stakeholders towards achieving its objectives and for the pride of all Nigerians.

Also speaking, the Federal Commissioner representing Niger State, Alh. Isah Jibrin, commended the ‘farmer’ governor for the visit, pointing out that he is the first to pay such a visit since the new leadership of the FCC assumed office adding that this has demonstrated his willingness to support the agency.
