In Pictures: One Year Fidau Prayer Held For Zainab Aluko In Ilorin
Family and friends attended the one year fidau prayer held for late Alhaja Zainab Aluko in Alabi Owo , Oja -Iya area of Ilorin, Kwara state on Thursday.
Alhaja Zainab Aluko, a retired primary school teacher, died in October last year and among her children are Hon Salihu Bamidele Aluko and Hon Tunde Aluko.
Hon Bamidele Aluko, a Kwara state APC chieftain, had at different times served as a member of Kwara state House of Assembly and a member of the Board of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, while Hon Tunde Aluko is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Kwara state Printing & Publishing Corporation.
The fidau prayer was presided over by Imam Ajala , who was assisted by other Islamic clerics, including Naibi Moshood Akewusola, Khalifah Alaboto Ibrahim and Ustaz Bashir Akewusola.
Dignitaries at the event include an APC chieftain, and a one-time National Chairman of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) , Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima, Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Oko-Erin, Alhaji Shola Muse, Alhaji Bola Abdulkadir Aluko and Alhaji Adebayo Tajudeen.
In an interview with Team@orientactualmags.com Alhaji Adebayo Tajudeen, who is the APC Chairman in Badari Ward, said the late Alhaja Zainab Aluko was a good-hearted woman ,who made everyone around her feel a gesture of motherly love.
