INEC Brings Voter Registration Closer To Osun Residents Through IVEDs
As the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise continues, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osun State office has announced the commencement of the rotation of its Voter Enrolment Devices (IVEDs) across all wards in the state.
‘The exercise, which commences today, Monday, February 2, 2026, is designed to bring voter registration services closer to eligible citizens at the ward level, thereby enhancing access, inclusiveness, and participation in the electoral process.
Under this arrangement, the IVEDs will be rotated across all wards within each Local Government Area in Osun State to enable eligible registrants to conveniently register for the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and carry out other approved voter registration services.
The rotation exercise will run for a period of fifty (50) days, beginning from February 2 and ending on 10th April, 2026 ’ Mr Musa Olurode, who is the Public Affairs Officer of INEC, Osun State, submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday.
Eligible residents have been urged to take full advantage of this opportunity by visiting the designated registration centres in their respective wards within the stipulated period.
‘For public information, transparency, and effective monitoring, the detailed rotation schedule of the IVEDs on a Local Government basis will be made available to the public.
