Insecurity: APC-Kwara South Focus Group Makes Appraisal Of Govt Efforts During 2nd Meeting In Ilorin, Praises Gov Abdulrazaq’s Devt Strides

Members of the APC-Kwara South Focus Group held their second meeting in Ilorin on Monday during which they made an appraisal of government efforts in respect of addressing insecurity in Kwara South and also commended the state and federal governments and the federal lawmakers from the State of Harmony for the measures taken so far to put a check on banditry in the senatorial district.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that during the meeting held at the ilorin residence of a member of the state House of Assembly, Hon Razak Owolabi on Monday, members of the group also praised the developmental strides made in the state on Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s watch.

‘The group expresses concern over the resurgence of banditry and general insecurity in parts of Kwara State and the country at large. 

While expressing deep sympathy to the communities and families affected, the group commends the efforts of both the Federal and State Governments as well as various steps already taken by members of the National Assembly from Kwara State including the commitment and dedication shown by security agencies at various levels in the ongoing fight against insecurity.

 The group commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his forthright leadership while also standing firm in support of his Renewed Hope Agenda.

 Additionally, the group gives kudos to the Kwara State governor, His Excellency, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for the progressive height the state has attained under his leadership.

 The group calls for better approaches by all concerned authorities in combating criminality across the country, while also urging all Nigerians to  cooperate with the authorities in turning the tide.

  Going forward, the group emphasizes courage and unwaivering commitment in pursuit of its political and developmental  objectives, as preparations for the next dispensation gets underway.

 The group re-emphasizes the need to maintain understanding and cooperation with all political office holders who are from Kwara South.
