Islamic Scholar To Osun Citizens: Don’t Lose Confidence In God, Oyetola ‘ll Return To Power Soon
A renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Buhari Ajikobi popularly called ‘Buhari Omo Musa’ on Monday urged Osun state people to continue to have strong faith in God that immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola will return to power soon.
Oyetola , he noted, had offered his best to the state while serving as governor which resulted in the unprecedented achievements recorded within four years.
Buhari asserted that the verdict of Almighty Allah on the return of Oyetola to serve Osun people for another four years of second term can never be subverted by any mortal hence the need for the people of the state to keep their hope in Allah and continue to pray for His mercy.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the revered cleric said this while delivering his lecture during the Special Ramadan Lecture and Prayer Session, organized by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state at the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Osogbo.
The lecture and special prayer session was put together to pray for the victory of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at the Supreme Court and that the President –elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should have a successful tenure.
Sheikh Ajikobi said his prayer for the return of Oyetola to power was in recognition of his sterling performance while in office and prayed God to grant him victory and all his heart desires, to serve the state for another four years, for the growth and development of the state.
The giant strides of Oyetola administration in four years were according to the cleric in fulfillment of the electoral promises made to the good people of the state which would soon be consolidated when he reclaims his mandate.
‘When Oyetola was in power, you all knew what he did. He did his best to advance the cause of the state and meet the expectations of the people but Allah has a way of designing His plans for every individual.
He has done excellently well and he has not said he is not doing again, I believe he is going to do more when he returns soon. I just want you to put your mind at rest, he is coming back. Insha-Allah, Oyetola will reclaim his mandate soon. All I know is that nobody can stop God’s plans’ he added.
Espousing some leadership qualities, the renowned Islamic scholar said for any leader to be successful, he must be a good listener and someone who listens and takes to noble advices.
Sheikh Ajikobi added that it behooves on leaders to see themselves as symbols of character worthy of emulation, just and fair in actions and inactions and not at any time take custody of what belongs to others adding that greed has dominated Nigeria’s political space which has made majority of the people to suffer.
Buhari Omo Musa, who decried social vices that have become the order of the day, admonished Muslim Ummah to be their brother’s keeper, and abstain from all actions capable of making them to lose Aljana fridaus (paradise) in the hereafter.
