I’ve Gotten Vindicated As Women Now Participate In Politics, Drive Cars In Saudi Arabia…Satellite Dish Is Haram-Sheikh Habeebulah Adam

Sheikh Habeebulah Adam, who is the head of the popular Markaz Arabic and Islamic Training Centre, Agege, Lagos, has made new assertions that may spark a debate.
He has asserted that the decision to allow women to participate in politics and drive cars in Saudi Arabia has gotten him vindicated.
Team@oeorientactualmags.com learned that the popular Islamic cleric, who said this in a viral video, questioned the submissions that it is haram for women to participate in politics or drive cars.
He argued that those who cite verses from the Qur’an to support their claims often lack a deep understanding of the scripture, the world, he noted, is evolving, and what may have been considered unacceptable in the past may now be permissible.
Adam made reference to Saudi Arabia, where women are now allowed to drive cars and participate in politics, and are even attending military training.
‘Anybody who uses a satellite dish and hangs it on the roof of his house and dies will not enter paradise because he/she has committed ‘haram’. If a woman drives a car or participates in politics, it’s haram. But women are now fighting for the right to drive cars in Saudi Arabia, and it’s no longer haram.
When I said it earlier in 2010 that women can get involved in politics, people criticized me. Not long after my statements in 2010, Saudi Arabia allowed women to vote and participate in politics.
Presently they’re training women in the military in Saudi Arabi and they now wear trousers. One Alfa who criticized this evolvement was quoting a part of the scripture that I believe he has no understanding of’ he said.
Recall that ahead of the 2011 Kwara State gubernatorial election, the popular Islamic cleric had declared that women can participate in politics and hold leadership position which was seen as a way of endorsing Gbemisola Saraki’s candidacy.
Gbemisola, a former senator, later emerged as ACPN guber candidate but came third in the governorship election in question-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
