Jubril Of Sudan: It Was A Fallacious Tale-Gambari

Former Chief of Staff, State House, Abuja, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has described claims of late President Muhammadu Buhari getting replaced with a certain ‘Jubril of Sudan’ while serving as president as a fallacious tale.

Professor Gambari, who served as Foreign Affairs minister under Buhari as military Head of State between 1983 and 1985, said it was the same late General Buhari who served as civilian president between 2015 and 2023 and there was never a ‘Jubril of Sudan’.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Professor Gambari made this clarification and assertion while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Monday.

‘I’m sorry to disappoint. I had no doubt at all that the Buhari I knew in 1984 was the same until his death. That was really quite a silly thing to say he was a different person (Jubril of Sudan).

But the fact is that you have people in this country who actually believe the worst about anything and any government.
