Kaduna Has Received N150b From FG In 18 Months To ‘Woo’ Gov Sani-El-rufai
Former governor of Kaduna State and a one-time Minister of FCT, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that the Federal Government has ‘selectively’ made N150 billion available to Kaduna State so as to woo Governor Uba Sanni, who, he noted, is really doing President Bola Tinubu’s bidding.
Recall that El-Rufai had described the state of governance and opposition in the country as a ‘national emergency’ during the national conference held in Abuja last week by the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development, the Centre for Democracy and Development, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the Peering Advocacy and Advancement Centre in Africa, and the National Peace Committee.
He had also condemned the lack of internal democracy and activation of party structures in the APC.
While appearing on a TVC programme on Monday, Governor Uba Sani however submitted that those who are criticizing the Tinubu administration are not qualified to do so making a veiled reference to his estranged political godfather, El-rufai.
‘Most of these politicians that came out and say they are coming as a coalition; they are politicians that were in government only less than two years ago. What did they do when they were in government? They were only fighting for power, not because they could do anything better. No president in the history of Nigeria has really practiced democracy like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’ he had said.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that El-rufai has taken to X.com to react to the television interview in question while hitting out at the governor.
‘KADUNA UPDATE: ‘When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, is the truth’. – Sherlock Holmes.
Every day I see this governor embarrassingly and sycophantically rambling, I used to wonder why? However, confirming that Federal Government ‘reimbursements, interventions and grants’ in excess of N150bn have been given selectively to Kaduna by Tinubu, in the last 18 months, now explains everything.
By all means, defend Asiwaju for the conditional cash transfer. Asiwaju has earned it, coming from you. The people of Kaduna State will judge at the right time and place.
