Kaduna Monarch Collapses, Dies While Attending Event In Zaria

Sarkin Yakin Zazzau, Rilwan Pate,  collapsed and died while attending an event in Zaria on Thursday.

Also at the event was the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.

Pate, who was also a Council Member of the Zazzau Emirate and Councillor in charge of Health Matters, suddenly collapsed during the event and was rushed to the Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Kofar Gayan Zaria, where he was declared a Brought in Dead patient..

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that  Zazzau Emirate Council confirmed the incident in a statement issued by its Director of Media and Publicity, Abdullahi Kwarbai, on Thursday.

Kwarbai expressed great sadness over the passing of Alhaji Rilwanu Yahaya Pate.

‘It is with great sadness that the Zazzau Emirate Council announces the passing of Sarkin Yakin Zazzau Alhaji Rilwanu Yahaya Pate, a Council Member of the Emirate.

Death is inevitable and can come whenever Allah destined’ he added.
