Kano Leadership Newspaper Correspondent Dies At 55, Gov Abba Yusuf Offers Condolences

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano state has offered his condolences to journalists in the state following the passing of the state correspondent of Leadership newspaper, Abdullahi Yakubu on Friday.
Chairman, Correspondents’ Chapel, Kano state NUJ, Alhaji Aminu Garko had announced the death of Yakubu in a statement issued in Kano earlier in the day while describing the late journalist as a gentleman.

He prayed for strength and resilience for the family members, wishing them solace during this difficult time.
The state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Gwarzo has also issued a statement on behalf of Governor Yusuf through his press secretary, Malam Ibrahim Shuiabu .
‘Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Gwarzo has on behalf of Governor Abba Yusuf extended his condolences to the family of the late Abdullahi Yakubu’ the statement said on Friday.
Governor Yusuf expressed his sympathies and acknowledged the loss that the late Abdullahi’s demise has caused.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Yakubu died after a short illness on Friday at the age of 55.
