Kano Tertiary Education Commissioner Resigns, Says Gov Yusuf Has Gotten Off Track
Hon Yusuf Kofarmata has resigned from his position as Kano State Commissioner for Tertiary Education submitting that Governor Abba Yusuf has gotten off the track and he can no longer serve in his government.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Hon Kofarmata announced his resignation in a statement he issued on Sunday while also thanking Alhaji Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso and NNPP leaders in the state for the opportunity to serve as commissioner.
‘I hereby resign my appointment as commissioner and member of the Kano State Executive Council. I cannot continue to work under a government that has derailed from the ideology that brought it to power.
I remain grateful to our national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the people who stood with us throughout the journey’ he said.
Hon Kofarmata, who reaffirmed his loyalty to the NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya movement, also declared that ‘Long live NNPP, long live the Kwankwasiyya movement’.
