Kara Market Disturbance: Olupo Of Ajase-Ipo Commended For Preventing Situation  From Escalating

The Olupo of Ajase –Ipo, Oba  Ismail Bolaji Alebiosu  has been commended for  taking prompt action to deal with a difficult situation in an organized and commendable way. He was said to have actually shown his ability to motivate others to achieve common goals.

The Ajase-Ipo monarch had also   shown his good leadership qualities by quickly taking steps to address a situation that had degenerative potential.

His intervening steps reportedly saved the situation and helped to prevent the recent Kara market disturbance from escalating.

It will be recalled that fight broke out between  members of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC and Bororo traders at the popular Kara market , Ajase-Ipo, a few days ago.

The OPC members were reportedly retuning to Kwara state after attending the Osun Oshogbo Festival and an auto accident involving  one the vehicles transporting them and that of the Bororo traders caused the disturbance.

 Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and the Olupo certainly deserve to be commended for  taking  necessary steps to preventing the situation from escalating cognizant  that the market is located on a major highway; Kabba-Ilorin, Offa-Ilorin  expressways.

Apart from being on top of the situation, the governor also visited the town to ensure that things do not get out of control..

The Olupo was said to have  promptly  contacted heads of   Security Agencies in Offa and Ilorin  and also led his Chiefs to  the Kara Market to personally ensure that normalcy was restored- Team@orientactualmags.com
