Kebbi Governor Donates N50 Million To Jigawa Flood Victims

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state has donated the sum of 50 million naira to flood victims in Jigawa state.
Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the governor made this donation during his sympathy visit to Governor Muhammad Badaru at the Government House Dutse, Jigawa state on Tuesday.
Governor Bagudu, he added, expressed his deep sympathy and sorrow over the loss of lives in the devastating flood incident recorded in the state.
He prayed for the repose of those who lost their lives in the flood incident while describing the incident that also resulted in destruction of houses and farmlands as one that had been ordained by God .
Responding, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar appreciated the governor for the sympathy visit on behalf of the government and people of the state.
Governor Bagudu also visited the palace of the Emir of Dutse, His Royal Highness, Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi to condole with the Dutse monarch over the flood incident.

It would be recalled that the flood incident recorded in Jigawa state a few days ago, had claimed many lives, who died from drowning, while thousands of structures, mostly houses, bridges, and roads were also destroyed , a development that forced many people to seek refuge at Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDP) Camps across the state- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
