Kebbi Govt  ‘ll Continue To Empower Women,  Young People –  Gov Bagudu 

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has promised hundreds of women and young people in Dakingari, Suru Local Government that his administration would sustain its empowerment programmes to assist them.

Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the Chairman of the  APC Progressives Governors’ Forum, said this  in Dakingari during the campaign rally held in the town  on Friday evening.

He said young people especially young women play significant role in politics and the development of the society.

‘ I have always been saying this that , the government and our party will continue to strive to render assistance to women in our state’ he said.

The governor commended the woman leader of Suru Local Government and youth groups that  attended the rally  in  large numbers to show support for the APC candidates.

He urged them to vote for APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, , Kashim Shatima, Kebbi  state APC gubernatorial candidate, Kauran Gwandu and  other APC candidates.

‘ With less than one week to the election, I ask you to vote for  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kashim Shatima, Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

 Remember that APC government has performed well and you bear witness to this , the President, 21 State Governors are all under the fold of APC.

 A good democracy is one that people remain solidly behind the government for dividends of democracy to continue to come to you’ he said.

Addressing the mammoth crowd of APC supporters, the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu appreciated  them for their unprecedented support.

The large attendance was according to him an indication that the people of  Dakingari   have declared support  for  the APC.

He reminded them of the efforts of both former Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, DG campaign Council, who is from the area, and the incumbent Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu to develop the local gpvernment .

 The Kauran Gwandu assured  young people in the state  that, if elected as governor, he would continue to support agricultural production so that they could be gainfully employed and also empower women to go into business ventures.

Director General,  Kebbi state  APC Campaign Council , Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, urged  the  young people in the local government  to continue to embrace APC  in order that  the area can  continue to reap abundant  dividends of democracy.

He told the gathering that both Bagudo and Suru Local Governments had benefited a lot from government particularly roads, agriculture and other infrastructural developments.

‘This area is the most, if not one of the topmost rice producing areas in the state courtesy of the support from government, so continue to be loyal and supportive to APC- led administration’ he  said.
