Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the deduction of 3% from the Basic Salary of Civil Servants in Kebbi state effective from November, 2022.
The money will be made available to Kebbi state Contributory Health care Management Agency (KECHEMA).
Acting Head of Service, Kebbi state, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena disclosed this in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday.
‘The approval granted by the Governor was sequel to the request made by the organized labour for the deduction of 3% of Basic Salary of all Civil Servants in the State which would be remitted to Kebbi State Contributory Health Care management Agency (KECHEMA)’ he said.
The statement added that the enrollment of civil servants in the scheme as a formal sector would enable the Agency to make the civil servants have easy access to health care that is affordable .
