Keeping Naira Marley In Custody For Almost A Month Without Providing Justifiable Reasons  ‘Wrong’, ‘Crazy’-Sister

Keeping Mr  Azeez Fashola, who is popularly called  Naira Marley, in custody for close to one month now without justifying reasons for doing so is wrong and it amounts to violation of  human rights, his sister Shubomi, has submitted.

Naira Marley had come under the spotlight following the sudden death of a popular hip hop act, Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.

Fans of the late singer had called for probe having felt that he died in suspicious circumstances and controversy had since continued over his death with an accusing finger pointed at  Naira Marley , Sam Larry and others.

Recall that Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun  had on October 4 , 2023,   ruled that Fashola and  Balogun Eletu, alias Sam Larry should be   remanded in custody for  21 days pending the completion of their investigation.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Shubomi , in an Instagram post on Saturday , argued that keeping Marley in custody without a reason is ‘crazy’.

‘Keeping someone who willingly traveled back to help in detention for nearly 30 days, with no charge, no evidence, no sufficient witness is a violation of his human rights. Keeping him in custody to appease social media and the internet mob is crazy.

If you have evidence against him for anything he’s been accused of, charge him! But if you don’t release him. It shouldn’t take this long for the investigation to be done.
