Man –about- town , Alhaji Moshood Aigoro, has disclosed that he may end his membership of Kwara state APC by next month unless necessary steps are taken to make him have a reasonable and convincing reason to remain a member of the ruling party.
Aigoro ,who asserted that he had remained committed to the party before , during and after the ‘otoge movement’ and had also fully supported the Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq administration, said he had however not gotten a defined role or given a sense of belonging ,ditto his friends, associates and supporters.
‘I was the first person to lead others in taking to the streets to declare support for Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq saying he must get a second term in office.
This was done more than two years ago.
We produced T shirts , fez caps that had the governor’s picture emblazoned on them and we also sponsored free health treatment and repainted mosques and churches on behalf of the governor. Actually we started the 4+4 = 8 catchphrase.
But my friends and supporters are asking questions and I have told them that we will take a definitive decision next month. By December , I will know if I will remain in APC along with friends and supporters or not. I have gotten in touch with stakeholders in the party and informed them of what I had been made to face because I want to have a justifiable reason for leaving the APC if I eventually end membership of the party ‘ he told Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday.
