Kwara AMDON Leaders Praise Gov Abdulrazaq’s Devt Strides During Visit To KWASSIP GM In Ilorin

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has been commended for the visible development strides made on his watch which are geared towards sustainable economic development of the state.

Members of the newly inaugurated Exco of the Kwara State Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria (AMDON) made this commendation during their visit to the General Manager, Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr Abdulwasiu Tejidini in Ilorin.

Tejidini, who also  acknowledged and appreciated the association’s role in the economy of the state through prompt tax payments and other business activities, urged AMDON members to adhere to government policies and the regulations put in place to guide their transportation business while restating  government’s commitment to inclusive growth.

He promised to explore areas of mutual cooperation that would benefit both AMDON members and the state in terms of social investment and financial opportunities.

Earlier,  President, Kwara State Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Hadi, thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for his unwavering commitment to developing the state while seeking continued support and cooperation on the part of the state government.

Alhaji Hadi noted that the establishment of an Agency like KWASSIP has demonstrated the governor’s compassion and commitment to uplifting the poor, the vulnerable groups and entrepreneurs, in order to create a more equitable environment for all.

Also speaking, Secretary of AMDON, Alhaji Tajudeen Okin, restated the association’s readiness to partner with the state government and KWASSIP in all areas that will enhance the economic development of their members and the general public.
