Kwara: Correspondents’ Chapel Announces ‘Full Schedule’ For 2023 Press Week

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union Journalists (NUJ), Kwara state council , will today Monday, November 27, 2023, kick off its 2023 Press Week.
The chairman, 2023 Press Week committee, Alhaji Abiola Azeez of the Tribune Newspaper in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com assured members that ‘the three-day fiesta’ will be the first of its kind in the history of the chapel.
‘Monday event will feature a health talk to be anchored by Dr. Aremu Isiaq, a consultant surgeon at the General Hospital, Ilorin, the programme will be held at the Secretariat of the Chapel ,No 25, Muritala Mohammed Way, Ilorin at 10:00am.
The second day (Tuesday) will feature an interchapel Novelty Table Tennis Competition at the NUJ Press Centre, GRA also at 4:00pm.
On the third day, the Grand Finale will be held at the Shalom hall, along EFCC Road , llorin where some dignitaries as well as deserving members of the chapel would be honoured with awards of excellence.
The event will start at 3pm, and it will feature entertainment of members and guests.
This is gonna (stet) be master blaster; journalists have never been treated in such an enviable manner until now, whoever misses out misses great fun’ the statement said.
The Heath Talk programme which is already underway has Dr Lola Owolabi speaking on ‘Menipause and Its Management’ while Dr Ismail Husein will be focusing on prostrate cancer.
