Kwara Gov Mourns The Death Of Issa Saliu
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has commiserated with the Salihu family and the media fraternity on the death of the Publisher of Real News, an online news platform, who was also the Editor of Moonlight Newspaper, Mallam Issa Saliu.
Mallam Issa died on Monday and he had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye , described Issa’s death as a painful loss to all.
“I send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the media community, especially the state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, National League of Veteran Journalists, and the Moonlight Newspaper. We take solace in the fact that he made his mark as a journalist ,who contributed his bits to the advancement of free press and democratic development.
