Kwara Governor Mourns Suleiman Umar’s Passing
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has sent his heartfelt condolences to Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar on the death of his father, Alhaji Suleiman Mora Omar.
Alhaji Umar, a one-time Secretary of the Kwara state Muslim Pilgrims Board and a top bureaucrat, who was in the state civil service for 35 years, died at the age of 86 on Tuesday night.
One of his children, Senator Umar Sadiq, who represents Kwara North, is currently the chairman Senate committee on Trade and Investment.
‘Governor AbdulRazaq urges Senator Sadiq and his family to thank Allaah for a life of service to humanity and commitment to higher ideals that Alhaji Omar led until his death.
