Kwara state government has announced that this year’s common entrance examination will hold in the state on August 19.
Peter Amogbonjaye, who is the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, disclosed this in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday while cautioning Principals and Head Teachers against collection of illegal fees.
‘This is to inform the general public that the placement examination (common entrance) into Junior Secondary School across the sixteen (16) Local Governments in the state is scheduled to hold on Saturday ,19th August, 2023 and it will start at 8:00a.m. prompt.
This examination is free of charge as it is fully paid for by the Kwara state Government.
The Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development cautions Headteachers/ Principals against collecting any money from the pupils or their parents.
Any Head Teacher/Principal caught engaging in such an unlawful act will be sanctioned accordingly.
