This initiative, the statement noted, aligns with the Urban Renewal Programme of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration which is aimed at transforming Kwara into a modern and visually appealing state.
According to the statement, no new registrations or renewals of signages and billboard licenses will be processed until further notice.
‘This temporary measure will allow the state to finalize a new regulatory framework for outdoor advertising’ the statement added.”
The taskforce also reiterated that, identifications of billboards are already ongoing while calling on owners of unidentified billboards across the entire state, to remove them with immediate effect.
The Taskforce ‘is currently identifying non- compliant structures’ and, ‘enforcement will commence this week’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
