Kwara Hotel: Ignore Distractions, Remain Focused, Group Tells Gov AbdulRazaq
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has been urged to ignore distractions and remain focused and committed to his mission to change the face of the State of Harmony.
The G47 AA Legacies Continuity Group, in a statement issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its Chairman, Comrade Jimoh Idris aka Blinkers on Saturday commended the governor for demonstrating visionary leadership and taking steps to revolutionize major sectors of the state’s economy since becoming the Chief Executive of Kwara state.
The group also said the plot to paint the governor in a bad light by those who are bellyaching will be an exercise in futility.
Throwing their weight behind Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq with regard to the steps taken on matters that have to do with the Kwara Hotel, the group urged the governor to stand by his decisions while asking those it described as self-centered individuals who have opposed the planned upgrading and remodeling of the hospitality outfit by seeking to make a capital out of the issue and giving false narratives that are clearly demagogic, to put an end to such a thing.
‘The G47 Legacy Continuity will like to declare our support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and urge him to go ahead with the planned upgrade of Kwara Hotel to a 5-star facility.
In recent days, the Kwara Hotel renovation project was made a topical issue by the elements of opposition and those who are still suffering from their ousting from power resultant from misuse of opportunities given to them by the good people of Kwara state . They are trying to misrepresent the good intention of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and seeking to paint him in a bad light.
Though, they are trying hard to do this but it will be an exercise in futility, because Kwarans are wiser and we are not ready to allow anyone with a selfish interest to take us back to Egypt.
It is crystal clear, that Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq’s good intention has really been helpful, and things have changed for the better’ the group said.
The statement also asserted that the Governor AbdulRazaq administration has changed the face of Kwara state through its policies and therefore worthy of support.
‘By all standards, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq administration’s policies have yielded enormous benefits and Kwarans are out of woods already.
The youths and women folks are supporting His Excellency and they want him to continue to deliver on his mandate and not to lose focus despite the mischief from the opposition and self-centered individuals.
It’s safe to say, that, days of cheap deceit and the use of bowl of porridge to cajole unsuspecting Kwarans is over and won’t be popular again in our dear state of harmony. So, anyone who is not happy with the pace of growth and development in Kwara state, is an enemy of progress and political jobbers, it definitely won’t be business as usual.
Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has been used by God to set us free from bad system of government in Kwara state.
Though we do not wish to join issue with anyone, but not on a matter of growth , development and progress of our state of harmony and good governance, keeping silent may result in jeopardy, because the bad elements and political jobbers may mislead unsuspecting well-meaning kwarans and the outcome will be worse.
The cancelation of contract agreement with Crystal group of company and the subsequent variation in amount of money for the conversion of Kwara Hotel to a Five- Star Hotel is the reason for the demagogues
God has sent a real people’s governor, to us and he is now putting kwara in a good shape unlike past administrations that saw governance as family affairs.
Kwarans will never listen to a self-centered individual because we can’t afford anything that will stop the good governance that we are experiencing in Kwara now, and nobody can use Kwara youths to set Kwara on fire because his company failed to secure a contract. Any way, you can try next time !
Kwara was among the first set of states that were created in the country but in all honesty can we compare kwara with those states? Like Lagos, then we need to question all past administrations and ask how they handled things, definitely, things must change in order to achieve a better Kwara. All hands must be on deck to help the situation of our dear state and support Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in his efforts to achieve the Kwara of our dream.
Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is embarking on the project that will attract and make investors invest in our state, this will boost our economy and bring more jobs to our doorstep and in the nearest future kwarans will appreciate Governor AbdulRazaq for doing this because with this kind of project in place, a modern-day mega city is assured in Kwara state and Kwara youths will benefit more.
We must remind ourselves, that kwarans had suffered in the hands of a dynasty; no salary, no promotions for the civil servants and no good roads, our public schools were nothing to write home about until the God- sent governor emerged, and he is now giving kwarans the good governance that they deserve, fast- tracking the project that can change the face of kwara , the likes of international centre, a five -star hotel, visual arts centre, fabric garment , model school, building and construction of rural and urban roads, hospital and Bridges in just five years it’s incomparable with PDP’s sixteen years of slavery’ the statement added.
The group has also urged well-meaning kwarans to be wary of detractors, and not to allow those it called political service providers to turn them against the Governor AbdulRazaq administration-Team@orientactualmags.com
