Kwara Journalists ‘Excited’ As ‘Internet Access’ Provided By Senator Saliu Mustapha Becomes Operative

Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture and the Turaki of Ilorin, Senator Saliu Mustapha, who a few days ago promised to provide free Internet Access for Journalists in Kwara state at the press centre of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kwara state council, Ilorin, had since fulfilled his promise.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the setting up of internet connection which had begun last week had since been completed and it has became operative while journalists have been getting access to internet with ease.
The state Chairman of NUJ, Mr. Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed, said the provision of internet access for journalists by the senator is commendable cognizant that journalists would need to stay connected to the internet and promptly disseminate information to the public.
Ahmed also thanked Senator Saliu Mustapha, who represents Kwara Central, for taking interest in the progress of the council through his programmes and interventions.
Mustapha, who chairs the Senate Committee on Agricultural Production and Rural Services, said the provision of internet access for journalists at the NUJ Press Centre , Ilorin would assist journalists in sending their stories to their respective newsrooms with ease.
