The Kwara state Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC ) will take necessary steps towards conducting local government elections in the State of Harmony and also kickstart electoral process soon.
The electoral umpire has also announced the ‘election date’.
KWSIEC Chairman, Alhaji Okanla Baba disclosed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday that ‘Local Government Elections will be held across the 16 local governments in the state on September 21, 2024’.
‘Arrangements are being put in place to make this happen within the set date. We will give a further breakdown on the notice and timetable for the elections soon, other things being equal.
