Kwara: Lekan Adewoye Engages Ekiti LG Stakeholders, Gains Huge Support For Senate Bid

Prince Lekan Adewoye, a prominent industrialist and philanthropist, has continued his strategic consultation tour across Kwara South senatorial district and this has allowed him to meet with key stakeholders in Ekiti local government and present his vision for the senatorial district.

The ongoing dialogue marks a pivotal step in his bid to represent the district in the senate.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the high-level meeting was attended by APC big wigs, community leaders, and elders, led by a respected elder statesman, Chief J.B. Ayeni.

Prince Adewoye, who is the Founder of Lekan Adewoye Foundation and the Chairman of the Basic Metal, Iron & Steel Sectoral Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), is leveraging his vast experience in economic development and community service to build a robust political foundation.

Setting the tone for the meeting, Hon. Kayode Towoju, who spoke on behalf of Prince Adewoye’s Political Tactical Team, provided a detailed account of the aspirant’s pedigree while touching on his distinguished educational background, sterling antecedents in the business world, and his deeply held philosophy of service and empowerment.

Hon. Towoju noted that Adewoye’s leadership in the manufacturing sector has positioned him to understand the critical needs of industrial growth and job creation, which are vital for the economic prosperity of Kwara South.

He also added that Adewoye’s senate bid is not a mere political venture but a calling to translate his private sector success into tangible developmental outcomes for the people.

Chief J.B. Ayeni, in his speech, described Prince Adewoye as ‘a good man of impeccable character’ whose philanthropic works through the Lekan Adewoye Foundation have already made a visible impact on countless lives within and beyond the senatorial district.

‘We have followed your activities for many years now, you are not a stranger when it comes to generosity and community development. We see in you the quality of leadership that Kwara South needs at this time’ he asserted.

 That was not all, on behalf of all the stakeholders in the local government, Chief Ayeni unequivocally promised their full and total support for Prince Adewoye’s senate bid.

Other party big wigs who attended the meeting are Asiwaju Ayobola Samuel, Mr Akin Bamidele, Alh.  Raji Yinka, Chief Abiodun Alasi, Lawyer Adeseko, Alhaji Olaiya Bello, Chief Oladele Owolabi, Mr Sunday Ogunlusi and Hon (Engr) Ogunmola

Giving his speech, Prince Lekan Adewoye expressed profound gratitude to Chief Ayeni and other stakeholders in Ekiti local government for their warm reception and endorsement noting that the values of hard work, integrity, and community service were instilled in him as a young man and have continued to influence him.

He further shared his political journey, explaining that his decision to launch a senate bid was born out of a deep-seated desire to contribute more meaningfully to the development of the senatorial district.

‘This ambition is about service’ Prince Adewoye declared while adding that ‘It is about leveraging the experience I have gathered in the economic sector to attract meaningful projects, advocate for policies that will empower our young people and women, and ensure that Kwara South takes its rightful place in the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria’.

He passionately pleaded for their continued support, guidance, and prayers, assuring them that their trust would be met with unwavering dedication, transparent representation, and impactful leadership.
