Kwara LG Elections: Ex-Rep Gbenga Makanjuola Asks Supporters To Vote For APC Candidates In Advance Of ‘Grand’ Defection Ceremony
A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Gbenga Makanjuola on Tuesday directed his supporters to vote for APC candidates in the local government elections scheduled to hold in Kwara State on Saturday, September 21,2024.
Hon Makanjuola, a lawyer, gave this directive during the meeting he held with his supporters at his Omu-Aran residence on Tuesday. Omu-Aran is the headquarters of Irepodun local government.
Recall that the former federal lawmaker, who had also served as Dr Bukola Saraki’s Chief of Staff, had a few days ago, announced his decision to say ‘To your tents, O Israel’ to PDP while he did not however disclose his new party.
