Kwara North: Senator Sadiq Umar Thanks Constituents For Warm Welcome, Great Hospitality…Restates Commitment To Renewed Hope Agenda
Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar,who represents Kwara North in the senate, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Baruten, Edu, Kaiama, Moro and Patigi Local Governments for the overwhelming warmth, solidarity and support accorded him and his entourage during his recently concluded visit to the senatorial district .
Senator Sadiq in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media office described the warm reception he got across Kwara North as deeply humbling and a clear reflection of the enduring unity, resilience and shared aspiration of the people for progress, peace and inclusive development.
He commended traditional rulers, political leaders, party executives, elders, youths, women groups and critical stakeholders across the five LGAs for their steadfast commitment to grassroots engagement and democratic participation.
Commenting on the security situation in the Senatorial district, the Senator reassured constituents that the current level of insecurity confronting communities in Kwara North will soon be brought under control while disclosing that serious and coordinated efforts are already ongoing through the strengthened collaboration of traditional institutions, local vigilante groups, as well as state and federal government security agencies.
He added that all the stakeholders are working collectively to decisively bring an end to the menace while emphasizing the need for continued community cooperation, vigilance and trust in ‘these ongoing interventions’.
The Senator restated his firm commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the APC-led administration at both the state and national levels, noting that meaningful and sustainable development can only be achieved through unity of purpose, active citizenship and strong party structures rooted at the grassroots.
He therefore urged all residents of Kwara North to actively participate in the ongoing APC e-registration and revalidation exercise, as well as the INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), stressing that mass participation remains critical to strengthening democracy and consolidating the collective voice of the region in governance.
Senator Sadiq also urged constituents to sustain their support for Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq’s people-oriented leadership and to remain steadfast in backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he described as a clear roadmap for inclusive growth, economic opportunity and national stability.
