Kwara PDP Presents Certificates Of Return, INEC Forms to State Assembly Candidates In Ilorin
Ahead of the 2027 General Election, Kwara State PDP has officially presented Certificates of Return and INEC nomination forms to all its candidates, marking the successful conclusion of the party’s nomination processes and the commencement of a new phase in its campaign to rescue and resecure the state next year.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its State Publicity Secretary, Mr Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party noted that the presentation ceremony, held at the PDP State Secretariat, Ilorin, witnessed the formal presentation of Certificates of Return and relevant INEC nomination forms to the party’s 24 House of Assembly candidates.
The party also noted that the event represents another important milestone in its preparations for the 2027 General Election, as all its candidates have now been formally presented with their Certificates of Return and required nomination documents.
According to the statement, the presentation of Certificates of Return to the House of Assembly candidates followed an earlier ceremony held at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja during which the party’s governorship candidate, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu (Daniya Geri of Ilorin), alongside the three Senate candidates and the six House of Representatives candidates received their Certificates of Return and INEC Forms EC9 and EC13A.
The presentation ceremony in Abuja was attended by the state PDP Chairman, Hon. Isa Bawa Adamu, members of the State Working Committee and other senior stakeholders in the party, who accompanied the governorship and National Assembly candidates to the national secretariat.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony in Ilorin, Hon. Isa Bawa Adamu congratulated the House of Assembly candidates on getting nominated by the party and urged them to see their victory in the primary elections as a collective mandate to serve the people with humility and dedication. He urged all the candidates to remain united, disciplined and committed to strengthening the party’s structures across their constituencies while getting every stakeholder involved in the campaign process.
Hon. Isa Bawa further submitted that the PDP in Kwara remains fortunate to enjoy experienced, visionary and politically astute leadership under Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki whose commitment to internal democracy, consultation and consensus-building has continued to unite diverse interests within the party and position it strongly ahead of the 2027 elections.
Some among the House of Assembly candidates, who spoke on behalf of the party’s candidates, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the PDP in the state for conducting transparent, credible and peaceful primary elections.
They pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them by working closely with party leaders, members and supporters at all levels while engaging every critical stakeholder in their respective constituencies to ensure the PDP records overwhelming victory in the forthcoming general election.
