Kwara Senator Reportedly Acquires 2 Abandoned Buildings In Ilorin To Protect Residents From ‘Potential’ Hazards
A member of the National Assembly from the State of Harmony has reportedly acquired two new buildings in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
One of the two structures in question which are located near the Post Office flyover had housed the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Ilorin branch when it registered presence in the State of Harmony in 2008.
Loyalists of the Senator in question said it was a step taken to ensure that abandoned buildings at such a strategic location do not pose threats to residents of the state capital.
Buildings staying unused for years will provide opportunity for people who are ready to access empty buildings, engage in vandalism and other anti-social behaviours.
