The Kwara state Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has gotten the go-ahead to conduct Promotional examination for all categories of teaching and non-teaching staff at the commission for the year 2022.
The promotional examination consisting of oral and written tests, will involve 3,700 TESCOM staff who are due for the next cadre .
TESCOM Chairman, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had once again, shown his commitment to improving the quality of education in the state.
He commended the Governor for his commitment to workers’ welfare especially his huge investment in education sector which has made public schools in the state a model for nurturing students and restoring the dignity of teachers.
The TESCOM Chairman noted that the schedule for the examinations and interviews will be released in due course.
He however, urged TESCOM staff to reciprocate this kind gesture by being more committed to their duties and joining hands with the Abdulrazaq administration to make its education policies a success.
It will be recalled that the AbdulRazaq administration had last year cash-backed promotion arrears for teachers dating back to 2015, 2016, and 2017, and also approved the promotion of 7,493 TESCOM staff that were due for promotion in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
