Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has noted that he was excited to receive the news of the State of Harmony emerging as winner of the 2023 President’s Inter Junior Secondary School Debate Championship.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the debate championship was held at the federal secretariat complex, Federal Ministry of Education Headquarters, Abuja.
The governor has also noted that this has motivated his administration to do a lot more in human capital development and restore confidence in public schools in the state.
‘I’m absolutely delighted at the victory secured by the Kwara State team in the just concluded 2023 presidential school debate competition in Abuja.
This marks the second time our state would be winning the national contest having achieved same feat in 2021. This victory underscores the fact that our investment in basic education in the state is yielding great impacts. The government and people of Kwara State are proud of the young scholars who have achieved the feat. I commend their brilliance and hard work. I also congratulate their teachers and authorities of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) ably led by Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja on the win.
