Lagos Assembly: K1’s Daughter, Damilola Marshall, Seeks APC Nomination…Calls Herself ‘Woman Of Excellence’

Damilola Marshal, who is the daughter of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, is seeking to become a member of Lagos State House of Assembly next year.

The young woman, a barrister-at-law, currently serves as Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Damilola, who announced her political aspirations via an Instagram post on Tuesday, also noted that she will be seeking party nomination to represent Surulere Constituency 2.

‘I am excited to share that I, Barr. Damilola Ayinde Marshal, I am stepping forward to serve the good people of Surulere Constituency 2 in Lagos State House of Assembly.

I am a woman of excellence and results. I am ready to serve and lead. With my background, I am fully prepared and ready to fight for what truly matters. I promise to be the voice of the youths in the House.

As a young woman, I believe this is exactly what my people need right now, and that is why I decided to step forward’ she submitted.

Damilola urged the people of the constituency to support competence and progress while submitting that ‘Youth Lokan!!! Igbega Eko, Ajumose wa ni’.

Hon Mosunmola Rotimi Sangodara currently represents Surulere Constituency 2 in the state house of assembly.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appointed Damilola as his Senior Special Assistant on Tourism on May 3, 2024.

Interestingly, Hon.
