LG Allocations: Fake Pensioners Planning To Protest At UBA Branches Today At Gov Adeleke Administration’s Instigation-Osun APC

Osun State APC submitted on Monday that fake pensioners and political hoodlums are planning to stage a protest today over the payment of the federal allocations to the reinstated APC local government council chairmen and councilors and they will be doing this at the branches of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) in the State of the Living Spring.

The fake pensioners, the party alleged, will be doing this at the instigation of the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration.

‘It would be recalled that the state government shelved the plan to sponsor the fake pensioners and hoodlums and make them stage a protest last Monday when the information about it was leaked to the public and the statutory security agencies penultimate Sunday.

The state government had stoutly justified the planned protest by the pensioners in various press statements dished out through copious news outlets last week when the plan was bungled.

Information has it that the admixture of real pensioners and other hired hoodlums have started gathering at some designated places in Osogbo, the state capital, from where they would  match violently to the UBA  branches across the state.

There could not be any reason for the fake pensioners and hoodlums to stage the planned protests if not to perpetrate criminal activities’ the party submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Chief Kola Olabisi on Monday.

The party urged the state Commissioner of Police and heads of other security agencies in the state to treat the development with the urgency it requires in order to safe some of the UBA branches which may be burnt down by the fake protesters.

‘There is even no plausible reason under the sun for any one or any group of people to take the laws into their own hands. 

Strange things indeed have been happening in the former most peaceful Osun State before the advent of the Adeleke administration which hallmark has been the organization of protests and strikes against its own government.

The almost one-year sympathy strike led by the factional state President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Dr Nathaniel Kehinde Ogungbamigbe, is still fresh in the memory of the discerning people in the state.
