LG Primary Elections: Nurudeen Adeyemi Gives Kwara APC Electoral Committee ‘Thumbs Up’, Congratulates Party Candidates
The Primary Electoral Committee set up by the Kwara state APC and tasked with overseeing the conduct of Chairmanship/Councillorship primary elections in the state has gotten the thumbs up from Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun.
He specifically commended the committee headed by Alhaji Abdullahi Samari Abubakar for conducting the Chairmanship/Councillorship primary elections in the seven Local Governments in Kwara South in a satisfactory way.
Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, a Kwara state APC bigwig, who is an aerospace engineer, in a statement he issued on Wednesday and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com appreciated the level of transparency and the successes recorded across the 83 wards in the Kwara South.
‘A big congratulations to the APC leaders in Kwara state especially His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, our able Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi and the Electoral Committee Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari Abubakar for the smooth conduct of the primary elections across the state particularly in Kwara South.
Truly, the results as announced by the Committee are a testament to the principles of transparency, fairness, and balance of power management so that the party can win at the polls.
No doubt, democracy will always accommodate opposing views and interests as witnessed. But as party men with committed love for the electoral success, we all must understand that the positions can only be filled with one person at a time. So, there is a need to demonstrate the spirit of sportsmanship as the primary is over. Let us support the decisions of the party leadership in the interest of peace and progress in our respective areas.
