Lightning Strike Leaves 2 Dead In Kwara… It’s 2nd Incident In 2 Months
A man, whose identity has not been established and owner of a tea shop, have died after being struck by lightning at Onigbegiri Junction, Eyenkorin , Asa Local Government , Kwara state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the sad incident occurred at about 6:30pm on Thursday evening during a heavy downpour.
An eyewitness, Mr. Mojeed Onigbegiri , said the tea shop owner and his customer, died on the spot.
Residents of the area have since urged the state government, the police and other security agencies to take necessary steps and ensure that the bodies of the victims are taken away.
It was the second incident of lightning strike that would be recorded in the state in two months.
