Likeminds Foundation To Hold 2025 AGM In Ilorin Dec 24

The Annual General Meeting of a non-governmental organization, the Likeminds, will hold in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

 Chairman of the Publicity Committee, Barrister Sheu Moyosore noted in a statement he issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday that new leaders of the organization will emerge during this year’s Annual General Meeting while some among the members will also be honoured with ‘award of excellence’.

The current exco is headed by Alhaji Saheed Alakoso and among the objectives of the organization are;

‘To be and exist as a corporate body with emphasis on philanthropy and human resources development.

To become a foremost non-political body that emphasizes unity and progress among members and Ilorin Emirate indigenes in general.

To promote and encourage age-long cultural and social interaction for unity amongst members in particular and the emirate in general.

To provide and promote leadership direction for upcoming lads from the emirate through training and personal relationships.

To render required and needed assistance to Ilorin Emirate indigenes and champion the overall development of the Ilorin Emirate.

To foster friendship and ensure that the hinges of friendship never rusts.

To identify, support and promote any other positive initiative aimed towards members in society.

To cooperate with any other foundations, having objectives similar to those of the association, formed for the purpose of fostering and promoting activities similar to the association.

To protest, fight and campaign against corruption.

To work for the empowerment and sensitization of women, adolescents and children within the emirate.

To create a sense of brotherhood, love, humanity, affection, cooperation and friendship amongst the members of the Foundation and the beneficiaries.

To help the poor, widows, handicapped, orphans, aged, mentally retarded people and under privileged section of the Foundation/emirate community.

To help in preventing epidemics and to advocate both permanent and temporary measures of Family Planning’.
