Man Arrested In Ondo Says He Poured Hot Water On Ex-Lover, Removed Her Intestines, Vulva Hoping She ‘ll Recover After Collapsing
A football coach in Ondo state, Bankole Oginni , has explained his role and also provided information on the sequence of events that had to do with the passing of a 45-year-old woman, (whose identity has been withheld by the police), and how her body was dismembered.
Bankole Oginni, who has been arrested and taken into custody by the police for killing his ex-lover, has explained that he dismembered her body because he was in a considerable state of confusion.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Oginni disclosed this in a viral video suspected to have been recorded during custodial interrogation .
In the two minutes 56 seconds video, the suspect said the injuries on the woman’s body which he was responsible for were as a result of him being scared after the deceased woman had died in his house.
‘I have been helping her for a long time and I asked her to come to my daddy’s house. When she came, I bought two bottles of Coca-Cola. She had not started taking it when she collapsed and I was scared. It was because I was scared that made me take the decision I took.
I poured hot water on her hoping it would bring her back to normal. I cut her open hoping to dump her somewhere because I was scared. I removed the private parts and the intestines. I put them inside a bag’ he said.
Spokesperson for the police in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect was found in possession of the victim’s body parts adding that the matter had since been taken over by the Criminal Investigation Department of the command.
‘The victim was found dead in the house of the suspect while some parts of her body had been removed.
The matter has been transferred to the CID and the investigation is still ongoing’ she said.
Funmilayo added that the daughter of the deceased woman had informed the police after seeing the lifeless body of her mother tied down with a rope and some parts of her body removed at the suspect’s house in Oke Aro area of Akure, the state capital, on Sunday.

‘A lady reported at the station that her mother’s ex-lover, Bankole Oginni, called and invited her (deceased woman) to his place in the Oke Aro area of Akure and that after she left for his house, she did not return, and her phone was switched off.
She traced her mother to the house, only to find her lifeless body in the room of the ex-lover, her legs and hands tied and her body opened with the intestines removed. Also, there were patches on her body that showed signs of hot water burns.
The suspect, who claimed to be a footballer, is already in our custody while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue’ Funmilayo added-Team@orientactualmags.com
