Man Dies At Enugu Shrine While Seeking To Get ‘Juju’ That’ll Attract Good Luck Abroad

26-year-old Chikwado Eze, who was preparing to travel abroad, has died at a shrine in Enugu State and it was a development that has made the police take his father and a native doctor into custody.

The native doctor wanted to prepare juju that will attract good luck and make him become successful abroad and he died while undergoing the spiritual fortification.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the tragic incident happened in Ugbaike, Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government, Enugu State last week.

Chikwado had secured a visa, and he was planning to travel abroad but visited his village to inform  his father, Mr. Uwakwe Eze, who however suggested the idea of having him  fortified spiritually to ensure his success overseas.

Enuwa Odugu, a native doctor, said Chikwado would have to be buried alive for 1 hour and 30 minutes to be properly fortified, unfortunately, when Chikwado was exhumed after the stipulated time, he had crossed to the great beyond.

Spokesman for Enugu State Police  command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe,  who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said the father of the deceased young man and the native doctor have since been arrested and taken into custody.

‘A native doctor, one Enuwa Odugu ‘m’, aged 48, and Uwakwe Eze ‘m’, aged 67, were arrested for conspiracy and murder of Eze’s 26-year-old son, one Chikwado Celestine Eze. The incident was alleged to have occurred when Uwakwe Eze took his son to the native doctor’s shrine for a ritual intended to fortify him with charms. However, during the ritual, the young man was buried in a coffin but he unfortunately died in the process.

He was rushed to the hospital  but was however  confirmed  as a brought in dead patient and his body was deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy’ he said.

Daniel added  that the native doctor  claimed that Chikwado  died because of his non-adherence to certain rules and conditions he  had earlier given him.

‘The case is under investigation, and the suspects will have charges preferred against them  once investigations are concluded’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
