Man Drowns In Odo Tente River…He Took Colorado Before Diving Into Water-Police
45-year-old Kazeem, has died after getting drowned in a river in Odo Tente, a boundary community between Lagos State and Ogun State.
The chap was said to have dived into water at about 11 am on Friday and sadly he did not come out alive.
Kazeem was said to have taken Colorado and being ‘under the influence’, he had suddenly dived into water.
Colorado is a drug made from a synthetic plant; it is said to contain heavy metal that is not suitable for human consumption. It is a trending cocktail of psychotropic drugs commonly used by many Nigerians especially the young people.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that spokesman for Lagos State Police command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident in a statement he issued on Sunday..
‘On 11/10/2024 at about 11 am, a complainant reported at Alagbado Division that one Kazeem, ‘M’ aged 45, took a hard drug suspected to be Colorado and while under the influence, he ran uncontrollably and jumped into a river at Odo Tente boundary between Lagos State and Ogun State. Sequel to this, the victim drowned and died’ he said.
Hundeyin further disclosed that cops from the Alagbado Division visited the scene of the incident and took photographs of the deceased person while adding that Kazeem’s father however directed that the corpse be buried immediately on the riverbank in line with their tradition.
