Man Found Dead Shortly After Stabbing His Wife To Death In Ogun
A housewife in Ogun State, Ganiyat Ayanwale has been stabbed to death by her husband, Mr. Ayoola Ayanwale.
The incident occurred at their residence in River Valley Estate, Ogun State and sadly, the children faced the agony of watching their mother die.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Ganiyat, who was rushed to Gifted Hands Hospital, was pronounced dead by doctors at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Ganiyat and Ayoola had been married for 13 years and they had posed for pictures during the first Sunday of the year 2026 unaware that the family was about to make news for something negative.
Barely 12 hours after stabbing his wife to death, Mr. Ayanwale was found unresponsive at an open field in Sotubo, a suburb of Ogun State.
He was later pronounced dead and the police have said it is a suspected suicide case as a bottle containing a suspected poisonous substance, two mobile phones, a voter’s card and an ATM card were found at the scene of the incident.
While many have continued to ask questions and involuntarily provide probable answers, some had however  insinuated that he may have been a victim of ‘eedi’ which means that somebody may have put a spell on him and made him behave irrationally and act contrary to reason.
In Yoruba land, Eedi refers to a spiritual affliction or enchancement that causes irrational or self-destructive behaviour-Team@orientactualmags.com   Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
