Marine & Blue Economy: Nigeria, US Ready To Take ‘Concrete’ Action On Collaboration, Partnership, Cooperation
After declaring the 43rd Annual Conference and the 18th Managing Director’s Roundtable of the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA) open on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos, on Monday, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola , met with the US delegation as a follow -up to the two earlier meetings held by the two parties.
On the United States of America side were the Consul General, Will Stevens, Assistant Secretary of State for Business and Economic Affairs, Ramin Toloui and Michael Ervin.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the parties reviewed all previous meetings and agreed to meet at a later date where specific areas of collaboration, partnerships and corporations would be clearly worked out and agreed upon.
The minister thanked the US government for her interest in ensuring the growth and development of Nigeria’s Marine and Blue Economy for the good of Nigerians and the collective good of the two countries-Team@orientactualmags.com
