Professor Olanrewaju Abraham has shown continued commitment to educational empowerment and global leadership development by announcing scholarships for over 2,000 African students at an American university.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Master’s degree scholarships will be fully-funded while adding that Professor Olanrewaju Abraham, who is the Vice-Chancellor of Heart Bible International University (HBIU), Hartford, Connecticut, United States of America, had earlier given such an opportunity to students in the bachelor’s degree category.
‘This new initiative serves as an additional scholarship batch following the successful implementation of the fully-funded Bachelor’s degree scholarship scheme that has already impacted hundreds of students across Africa and the diaspora.
Beneficiaries of the ongoing Master’s degree scholarship programme are expected to complete their academic programmes and graduate by August 2027, positioning them to become transformational leaders in sectors such as agribusiness, leadership, counseling, healthcare administration, and community development.
With an estimated value of $20,000 per student, the Master’s degree scholarship initiative represents a total educational investment of approximately $40 million, making it one of the largest privately-driven scholarship empowerment efforts focused on African human capital development’ the statement said.
Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Professor Abraham emphasized the importance of education as a tool for poverty eradication, leadership transformation, and sustainable economic development.
‘Education must not only inform minds — it must transform destinies. Our mission is to raise solution providers who will address food insecurity, leadership gaps, and socio-economic challenges across Africa and the global community’ the statement quoted him as saying.
‘The scholarship programme is part of Professor Abraham’s broader humanitarian and educational empowerment agenda aimed at expanding access to quality higher education for underserved populations while building a new generation of ethical, marketplace-ready leaders.
The initiative aligns with ongoing global efforts to strengthen educational access, promote innovation-driven development, and support cross-continental academic collaboration between Africa and the United States.
Professor Olanrewaju Abraham is an academic leader, humanitarian, agribusiness advocate, and global education strategist. He is widely known for championing scholarship programs, leadership development initiatives, and faith-driven humanitarian projects across Africa, the United States, and the diaspora’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
